Sir Last Chance Film photos
A Sri Lankan Film Producer (Lucky Dias) recruits two Hindi Actresses from Mumbai for his latest production. This is done in the mind set of making better profits by catering to the increasing demand for Hindi Films by the local filmgoers.
This move (being a threat to the Local Industry) creates much havoc among the local actors involved in the film. They in turn with the help of an underworld gang leader (Palitha Silva) secretively plot to kidnap and demand a large ransom for the two Hindi Actresses.
However, one local actress betrays them by divulging this secret to the Film Producer. She in turn is promised a prominent role in the film, and an attractive payment.
Disturbed by what he’s just learned, the producer goes in search of a renowned private detective, named, "Sir Last Chance" (Vijaya Nandasiri), and requests his assistance to avert the conspiracy. Sir Last Chance entrusts two of his competent men, Arty and Vittee, to make necessary plans to ensure proper protection for the two actresses.
As planned, the two actresses arrive in Sri Lanka and upon arrival are warmly welcomed by Arty and Vittee. The story unfolds as the two tackle many an obstacle through much created humor to ensure their safety.
Film ‘Muhurath Day’ dawns and the cleverly disguised Arty and Vittee, strategize to trick the underworld leader and his gang and make possible the much awaited appearance of the two new stars on stage. The criminals, caught completely off guard of Arty and Vittee’s involvement are baffled and immediately brought to justice.
The Hindi Actresses caution the Producer and the Director of the film, not to underestimate
the Sri Lankan Stars by engaging the services of Bollywood Stars
The two detectives, in turn succeed in their perfectly manipulated scheme and are rewarded richly by the two actresses, and are elevated in their rank for their bravery and wit.
